About Tandem

As our Marketing Manager, you will own and drive initiatives across App Store Optimization, SEO, and emerging areas like AI-driven content optimization. Your responsibilities will include:<ul><li style="font-weight:bold;">App Store Optimization (ASO):<ul style="font-weight:initial;"><li>Lead global Tandem's ASO strategy, including keyword research, metadata optimisation, A/B testing, and experimentation</li><li>Collaborate with designers and copywriters to optimize app visuals and descriptions for increased visibility and downloads</li><li>Monitor and analyze ASO performance using tools like AppTweak or AppRadar and refine strategies based on data insights</li></ul></li><li style="font-weight:bold;">AI Content Optimization:<ul style="font-weight:initial;"><li>Create and optimize content designed for AI tools like ChatGPT and Gemini, ensuring Tandem’s strong presence in AI-powered search and answer platform and focusing on enhancing visibility in conversational and contextual search results</li></ul></li><li style="font-weight:bold;">Search Engine Optimization (SEO):<ul style="font-weight:initial;"><li>Work with our content writer to create and implement SEO strategies and content that drive organic traffic and app installs, leveraging AI tools</li></ul></li><li style="font-weight:bold;">YouTube SEO and Video Strategy:<ul style="font-weight:initial;"><li>Develop and implement YouTube SEO strategies to maximize the visibility of Tandem's video content</li><li>Collaborate closely with our video content creator to optimize video titles, descriptions, tags, and thumbnails for search and engagement</li><li>Use insights from YouTube Analytics to refine video strategies and grow Tandem's audience and influence on the platform</li></ul></li><li style="font-weight:bold;">Experimentation and Reporting:<ul style="font-weight:initial;"><li>Design and execute a roadmap of bold experiments to grow Tandem’s organic visibility and impact</li><li>Build and maintain dashboards to measure ASO, SEO, and AI content optimization efforts, providing actionable insights to the team</li></ul></li><li style="font-weight:bold;">Collaboration and External Management:<ul style="font-weight:initial;"><li>Manage relationships with our copywriter, translators, and content creators to scale Tandem’s reach across diverse languages and cultures</li><li>Stay ahead of industry trends, competitive analysis, and emerging technologies in ASO, SEO, and AI-driven content</li></ul></li></ul>

Your role will be to:

<ul><li>Have 2+ years of experience in App Store Optimization (ASO), with proven results; SEO experience is a plus</li><li>Understand the nuances of mobile marketing and emerging trends in AI-driven content optimization</li><li>Possess strong quantitative and analytical skills and have a data-driven yet creative approach to problem-solving</li><li>Have a passion for learning, innovation, and staying ahead of industry trends</li><li>Are a great communicator and team player, capable of collaborating across teams and functions</li><li>Are fluent in English; additional languages are a plus</li><li>Are based in Berlin or willing to relocate</li></ul>

Take a deep dive As a Tandem team member, we’ll give you a budget for up to 6 “Deep Dive Days” per year. Then book a cabin in the woods or whatever matches your individual learning style. We’re looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to join our team as we transition from legacy PHP to Golang microservices. If you enjoy working with data, exploring new technologies, and taking on big challenges, you’ll fit right in. Experience with large datasets and an interest in machine learning are great pluses.Examples of things you could work on:<ul><li>Design and build innovative features that enhance language learning experiences.</li><li>Architect and scale real-time chat systems to support our growing user base.</li><li>Help transition our existing monolithic architecture into scalable microservices.</li><li>Work with and learn about cutting edge ML and generative AI services. </li></ul>
